Hi! I'm Muneebah, also known as Minnie! Unlike other bakers, I don't have a long line of secret recipes passed down by my grandmother. I'm a self-taught baker who has developed recipes through a lot of trial and error.
I'm a daughter, sister, student, and lover of everything Nutella. As a child I dreamt of having my own cooking show where I could teach people how to make all these fancy recipes, I even practiced being Rachel Ray in my kitchen, so I was prepared for when the time came, haha! ... And guess what? The time did come! No, no, I've never been on T.V., but I landed a teaching position at a cooking school in my city!
I had the opportunity to teach classes and work alongside chefs, building my love for baking! I had the opportunity to put on a live cooking show every Friday night for teenagers and adults alike. I've been there for about four years now, learning the skills I need, to become an expert at what I do.
Once COVID hit and all of us were locked in, I went through a hard time mentally struggling with thoughts of what my future would look like, and that’s when I realized that I had forgotten a lot of my dreams along this busy road of life. I decided that this was the perfect time for me to start working towards my goals, and I woke up one morning determined to turn my hobby into a business.
Voila! That's how Minnie's Sweet Miracles was born.
Not only did I realize that I love selling custom cakes, and cupcakes, but I loved interacting with the audience I had gained on my Instagram page. I loved reviewing local bakeries, sharing recipes and taking people along my cake decorating journey!
I enjoy the personal connection that I've created with so many of you in such a short period of time, and decided that I would continue this journey through a website where I can get personal and formally share tips and tricks! I have many plans and goals for this small business of mine, but I'm ready to take you along with me as we all figure this out together! So grab a cupcake, get your apron on, and let's get baking!
